Poetic portrait & timeless wedding photography
a way of seeing
Every photograph begins with a way of seeing. What we have lived, what has shaped us and the way we observe the world inevitably become part of the image. In many ways, choosing a photographer is choosing the eyes through which your story will be seen and remembered.
For me, photography begins with vulnerability. I need to feel what I photograph before I photograph it. I have always been more interested in the shadow than in the light, in what is suggested rather than fully revealed, in the silence, textures and subtle layers beneath what is immediately visible. I do not see photography as a perfect reflection of reality, but as a translation of feeling, perception and memory.
what i photograph
I photograph people and the stories they carry, from intimate portraits and couples to weddings, brands and meaningful events. Across each of them, I look for what feels most human: presence, connection, gesture and emotion, translated through a poetic and intentional visual language.
“Photography has never been a perfect reflection of reality; to me, it is the language in which emotions quietly bloom.” – Rebecca Doracio

Hey, I'M Rebecca doracio
I’m a Brazilian photographer with an introverted soul, a quiet way of noticing things, and a deep need to make people feel seen. I’m naturally attentive, caring, and deeply present in the stories I photograph, often becoming more of a companion throughout the process than simply the person behind the camera.
I hold a degree in Photography from Belas Artes University in São Paulo, Brazil. My work has been published in 10 international magazines, shown in 5 exhibitions, selected for the 3rd edition of Art and Woman, featured in 100 Emerging Artworks 2026 in New York, and awarded in a photography competition in Japan.
The Experience

To keep every story intentional, personal and consistent, I follow the same thoughtful process from the first conversation to the final images.

01. Inquiry & Investment
We begin by understanding what you are looking for and finding the service or package that feels right for your story, event or project.
02. Digital Contracts
Once everything is confirmed, the service and image agreements are sent digitally within 3 business days, so everything feels clear and cared for from the very beginning.
03. Alignment Meeting & Questionnaire
We take time to talk about your story, references, expectations, priorities and the details that matter most to you. The questionnaire helps me understand not only what you need, but also what you want these images to feel like.
04. Visual Proposal
From everything we share, I build a visual proposal that brings the idea to life through references, color, atmosphere, creative direction and styling suggestions when relevant.
05. Photography & Delivery
When the day arrives, everything has already been thoughtfully prepared so there is room for presence, spontaneity and connection. Afterward, I carefully select and edit the final images, which are delivered through a private online gallery.

Let's document your story

Your story already carries its own beauty, in the gestures, the silences, the details that make it yours. Come tell me about it, and let’s create photographs that feel less like being seen and more like being remembered.

Authorial Work

Beyond commissioned sessions, photography is also where I explore my own narratives. In my authorial series, I experiment with vulnerability, intention, and the poetic identity that defines my work. These images are fragments of personal research, reflections, and emotions translated into light, shadow, and tone. If you wish to glimpse this more intimate side of my photography, I invite you to visit my authorial series.

FAQ
What do you photograph?
I photograph everything from portrait sessions to events.
My event work includes weddings, vow renewals, wedding-related celebrations, corporate events, and wellness experiences. My portrait work includes couples, artistic and intimate sessions, as well as personal branding and corporate portraits.
How do I book a session or event with you?
Booking your session or event is simple! You can reach me directly through this website, just click any “Get in touch” button, fill out the form, and I will guide you through the next steps. You may also send me a message via social media, where I will gladly direct you to the booking process. And of course, you are welcome to email me with your request. Do you travel for photoshoots?
Yes, I do! Just let me know the date and location of your session or event, and I will provide the travel fee, whether it’s for a national trip or an international journey. Wherever your story unfolds, I am ready to follow it with my camera.
How long does it take to get our photos?
The delivery time depends on the package you choose, usually between 7 and 30 business days. In many cases I also offer a preview within 24 hours so you can share and enjoy the moment while waiting for the full gallery.
Do we need to know how to pose?
Not at all! You don’t need to know what to do or how to stand. My role goes far beyond taking photographs, it’s about creating a space where you can simply arrive as you are.
Every session and wedding is gently guided with intention, allowing moments to unfold naturally rather than be performed. I believe the most meaningful images are born when you feel seen, comfortable, and free to be yourselves.
Many of the people I photograph tell me they’re shy, awkward in front of the camera, or that they’ve never done this before. And almost every time, they leave saying how surprisingly easy, light, and joyful the experience felt.
Perhaps that’s because I know both sides of the lens. My journey began in front of the camera through self-portraits long before I stood behind it. That experience taught me what vulnerability feels like, and how to guide others with softness, empathy, and quiet confidence, so being photographed becomes less about posing and more about simply being.
What should we wear for our session?
Your outfits are an important part of the story we will create together. I encourage you to choose pieces that feel natural, comfortable, and true to who you are as a couple. The goal is not to create a different version of yourselves, but to capture your connection in a way that feels timeless and personal.
I will guide you with colors, textures, and styles that complement the location and the mood we want to create. Whether your style is elegant, relaxed, or artistic, the most beautiful images come from feeling confident and completely yourselves.
If you’d like, I can share inspiration and help you curate outfits that feel cohesive and effortless.
