Born in São Paulo and open to the world, I would describe myself as a Brazilian photographic soul in search of the sensitive and the vulnerable. Graduated in Photography at Belas Artes University of São Paulo, I discovered not only technique but a way to transform fragility into creation. As an introverted spirit, I have always found in images a language of understanding, a mirror to solitude and a vessel for poetry. My heart beats in nostalgia and melancholy, yet blooms in moments of belonging where vulnerability unfolds into words, smiles, and attentive gazes. I am captivated by vintage aesthetics, by grains, warm sepia tones, and deep contrasts that preserve the weight of memory. But beyond aesthetics, my devotion lies in narrative, weaving poetry, music, and visual arts into photographs that are not mere records of reality, but invitations to feel, to contemplate, and to discover fragments of oneself in the silence of an image.
Origins & Journey
“A photographic soul seeking sensitivity"
My journey into photography began with self-portraits during adolescence, when struggles with self-image and anxiety taught me the fragile courage of standing before a lens. Those years of turning the camera toward myself gave me not only a language of vulnerability but also the ability to understand the silent dialogue between subject and camera.
During the pandemic, while deciding whether to pursue civil engineering or business, I chose instead a secondhand Nikon D5200, a lamp that still illuminates my self-portraits today, and a dream that grew stronger with every passing day. I photographed relentlessly, creating content for social media and immersing myself in authorial photography. Each image became both practice and revelation, and through constant repetition I evolved, finding devotion in the act of photographing.
In 2022, I began my formal studies in Photography at Belas Artes University in São Paulo. Unlike many photographers who arrive through self-taught paths, I sought to deepen my roots academically, exploring anthropology, ethnography, philosophy, sociology, art history, and poetic photography. I have always believed in the power of the image and its growing influence in contemporary society, and I wanted to understand it not only visually but conceptually.
My years at university brought countless recognitions. Ten international magazines published my fashion editorials, I represented my peers as a leader throughout most of the course, and I held three exhibitions. My first was awarded as the best final project, a poetic study of hands that became a collective exhibition. I navigated through different niches (authorial, fashion, intimate) until I found my true focus in the tender narratives of people.
After graduation, I embraced autonomous photography, dedicating myself to weddings, events, and portraits, while continuing to present authorial works in international exhibitions, contests, books, and publications. This long journey, enriched by both practice and study, gave me profound experience in directing both in front of and behind the camera, and shaped a visual identity influenced by Ukrainian, Russian, Swiss, and Japanese photography.
Photography became not only my profession but my language, a way to transform fragility into creation, solitude into poetry, and every image into a timeless invitation to feel.
Authorial Work
Beyond commissioned sessions, photography is also where I explore my own narratives. In my authorial series, I experiment with vulnerability, intention, and the poetic identity that defines my work. These images are fragments of personal research, reflections, and emotions translated into light, shadow, and tone. my approach
Photography, for me, is an intimate and conscious process. I place body and soul into everything I create, approaching each project with vulnerability and authenticity. My goal is to produce images that fulfill their purpose and transmit the emotions of the narrative they belong to, while staying true to my visual identity — poetic, sober, vintage-inspired, with warm and greenish tones, strong contrasts, and shadows.
My direction is spontaneous and editorial. I design the scene so that natural reactions unfold, capturing genuine emotions with an aesthetic that elevates each moment into something timeless. Before every session or event, I study the proposal carefully, because I believe good photography is intentional: it should speak for itself without needing explanation.
I see photography as a space of belonging and safety, especially for women. More than delivering a final visual language, I propose an experience — authentic, natural, and guided with care — where the process is as valuable as the result.
Achievements
International Publications
My work has been published in ten international fashion magazines, each highlighting the consistency of my artistic identity. These include MOB Magazine (Canada), LeDesir Magazine (Greece), HOLLYWAY Magazine (Japan), L’ATTIRANCE and DOMINANTE (France), GMARO (Paris), KAZARJ (Ukraine), SELIN (Netherlands), VOUS (Spain), and STYLÉCRUZE France.
Beyond magazines, my photography was featured in two New York art books: Art and Woman (Edition 3) and 100 Emerging Artworks of 2026. Both publications included editorial remarks that recognized my poetic and narrative approach to photography.
Exhibitions & Contests
I have participated in exhibitions across Brazil, Japan, and the United States. At Universidade Belas Artes in São Paulo, I joined three collective exhibitions, including my first solo project — a poetic study of hands — which was awarded as the best final project and later showcased collectively. In Japan, I exhibited twice through the Cizucu Photo Poster Project, where I was also honored as the winner of the Cizucu Photography Contest. In the United States, my work was presented at Docode Gallery in Tucson, Arizona.
Academic Recognition
During my studies at Belas Artes University (2022–2024), I consistently received recognition for both artistic and leadership qualities. Serving as a student representative for most of the course, I combined organizational skills with creative vision. My academic journey reinforced my belief in the power of the image, enriched by studies in anthropology, ethnography, philosophy, sociology, art history, and poetic photography.
Professional Distinction
Alongside these achievements, I worked as lead photographer in international fashion editorials across multiple countries. I also created the mentorship program Alma Fotográfica, designed to foster creative and narrative depth in photography, further establishing my role not only as an artist but as a guide for others seeking to explore the poetic dimension of the image.
